Over the past year, more than 1,000 young people from all walks of life in Vietnam have joined Chinese youth in tracing the revolutionary footsteps of the elder generation leaders of the two parties and countries, jointly exploring the red gene of China-Vietnam friendship and experiencing the many scenes of Chinese-style modernization.

The different themes of the camp—"Staying True to Our Original Aspiration," "Shining Red Star," "Passing the Torch," "Light of Ideals," "Following Uncle Hu's Footsteps...... and the "Red Study Journey" all embody the red gene that the two parties and countries of China and Vietnam have jointly passed down.
